About Us
The Mississippi Children’s Music Theater is a local drama school for children of all ages. MCMT has a fun-packed process where kids learn through singing, acting and dancing, resulting in the production of a show where they can display their talents.
Children have surprising ways of showing their personalities. The MCMT wants to help them develop their character with creativity and leadership.
And we encourage the children's ideas of composition, choreography, design and more to be used in our shows.
In a dynamic and fast-paced culture, we want to foster in our kids a sense of artistic excellence that will help them engage with the world around them.
COVID 19 forced us to cancel our coming show The Enchantment of Beauty and the Beast! Our students decided to prepare a show without leaving their homes and to perform it online. So there it is:
